Countries will be penalized:
- for registering fictitious or wrong names;
- for registering riders who will not show up;
- for registering riders who do not fulfill the conditions of participation;
- for withdrawing registered riders after the registration deadline

| Registrations of individual riders (incomplete teams) are allowed. When a total of 3 individual riders from the same country have been registered, they automatically form a team. The first 3 riders of a country form the official team of this country. Additional riders form additional teams, or are part of international teams. The final composition of the official team can be changed any time until the first team chef meeting at the competition, but cannot include any riders other than the registered official or additional riders.

When registering individual riders for the official team at different points in time, as date of registration for the team will be considered the date of the registration of the last rider of the team.
When registering additional riders, the individual times of registration are considered, in accordance with the general principles for the formation of additional teams.

All registered riders on the final list of participation must be confirmed expressis verbis by the National Responsible AFTER the end of registrations, and BEFORE the end of the confirmation deadline.
Riders who have not been confirmed by the end of the confirmation deadline will not participate. Moreover, they are considered to have irregularly withdrawn and thus will be penalized accordingly.
